 As pre-model exams were conducting for 10th standard students, we got chance to take class in 9th standard as there were free periods. The Trio was somewhat long compared to another chapters. But i could manage to cover the portions gradually and simply. We got chance to conduct some interactive and entertaining sessions to UP students. Children and us both enjoyed the sessions.  We got chance to take class in UP section in some of these days. They were all energetic and brilliant students with some talents. On 18, 19 and 20 th of January we arranged sessions for School Based Activity. All of the children participated well in the activities. As part of Republic day celebration Head Mistress hoisted the flag, following there were parades of SPC and JRC students.

Republic Day celebration was organized by Kottiyam Pauravedhi coordinating all the educational institutions in Kottiyam. A rally was conducted from Kottiyam junction to Football turf, where all these schools and colleges assembeled. Some programmes like speeches, dances and Skit were conducted proclaiming the message of   " No to Drugs" there. HKM College of Education and SN Polytechnic College shared the First prize for the best rally.

Annual Day Celebration of HKM Group of Institutions was conducted on 25th January in the campus. Several renowned personalities made the celebration more colourful and engaging with their presence.   

As part of school internship, we conducted class on physical education and yoga. Students actively participated in them. 

  Art and Craft Workshop We conducted an art and craft session as part of school based activity. We arranged the students into several groups and taught them how to make a DIY Puppy. Each of trainees guided each group in cutting and folding them and after children coloured them.  In the next session children brought some colour papers, colours and other accessories as we informed before. We asked students to make some pictures or items using geometrical figures cut from the colour papers.  In the last session we brougt some glass paints and sheets with a printed image and  provided them to children to paint.

 It was the first class after christmas holidays. As i had to teach the remaining part of the story The Happiness Machine i had been teaching before holidays, i revised the main points once more. After completing the story i move on to activities and taught them a grammar topic Active and Passive voice. Then i taught a small and beautiful poem A Prayer in Spring. Students really enjoyed the poem. As the poem was a compound of poetic devises, i taught them Poetic devises well. I could deliver the ideas clearly. Then i move on to a story titled The Trio by R K Narayan.  I made use of ICT and pictures well to make the students understand clearly. Some days i got two periods in 9 A class that i could present the topic gradually in a simple and clear manner. In these week, we got chance to help the cook to cut vegetables for the meals for children. Some of the teachers there too takes part in kitchen works. This experience helped us to get friendly with them.
