 It was the last week of teaching practice. After revising all the topics i conducted an achievement test and diagnostic test in the class. Students' performance in the test was satisfactory. Remedial teaching was also conducted based on previous test. On July 24, the inauguration of Literary Club was held at School Auditorium. Mr. Milton S, faculty of English at St. Aloysius HSS inaugurated the function. On the last day we distributed some sweets to our students. We gave some books and study materials to Head Mistress for the students from backward families as a gift. And we stepped down from our school with lots of memories and unforgettable experiences and there was hope too.....

These weeks were the weeks of programmes and events. I completed the chapter Tolstoy Farm and taught grammar portions like Determiners and Phrases in this week. On July 13, a Karate session was held in school auditorium promoting security of girls. The class focussed on self defence moves for girls to save themselves from attacks. Half an hour that day was spend to clean campus as part of dry day celebration. On July 14 an anti drug seminar was conducted under Rotary Club, Kottiyam at school auditorium in which students from class 8th and 9th participated. On July 21, Sports Meet was held under the leadership of Physical Education Teacher Mrs.Laila. All the teachers and teacher trainees from all colleges were part of each of the committees and duties were assigned to each of us. Medals and certificates were distributed to all the students won first three places in the events. A food fest was conducted on the same day.  In these weeks there were some holidays due to rain and Bakrid. The first mid term exam started in the school from 3rd July. For that, the lessons taught so far were revised. There was NSM day celebration, Observation of anti-drug week and remembrance of renowned Malayalam writer Vaikom Muhammed Bashir was held. As part of anti drug observation awareness classes were conducted and shown a short film under 'Project Venda'. As part of anti drug day celebration, a rally was conducted jointly by the schools in Kottiyam and gathered in Holy Cross Hospital ground for a awareness program. Bashir remembrance was celebrated on July 5 with much programmes like skit presentation, fancy dress competition based on Bashir's characters, speeches and other competitions.
