SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE - I [30/01/2023 - 10/02/2023]

 This was the last two weeks of our teaching practice. By February 1 i could complete my portions in 9A class. Later i revised all the topics once more for better understanding and retention. Then i conducted achievement test and diagnostic test based on the topics i taught.

In the assembly on February 1, the school Head Mistress congratulated and gave medals to students who got first prize for working model presented in Science exhibition conduted by Bishop Jerome Institute.




As there was School Annual day celebration was to be on February 10, we gave sweets to our students and presented a Clock to School on February 9. We shared our experiences and students shared their experiences and love for us. 






School annual day was celebrated on February 10. Mr. Noushad, MLA inaugurated the function.

 It was the first class after christmas holidays. As i had to teach the remaining part of the story The Happiness Machine i had been teaching before holidays, i revised the main points once more. After completing the story i move on to activities and taught them a grammar topic Active and Passive voice. Then i taught a small and beautiful poem A Prayer in Spring. Students really enjoyed the poem. As the poem was a compound of poetic devises, i taught them Poetic devises well. I could deliver the ideas clearly. Then i move on to a story titled The Trio by R K Narayan.  I made use of ICT and pictures well to make the students understand clearly. Some days i got two periods in 9 A class that i could present the topic gradually in a simple and clear manner. In these week, we got chance to help the cook to cut vegetables for the meals for children. Some of the teachers there too takes part in kitchen works. This experience helped us to get friendly with them.
