SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I [9/11/2022 - 18/11/2022]

 There was Unit Test till November 11 th conducting there. The exam was conducted  one period in the morning and one in the afternoon. I got exam duty in 5 D class in which i had to assist the assigned teacher in that class. It was a new and exciting experience for me.

 In my first day at 9A, i created a good rapport session along with self introduction and created some discussions on nature and protection as a precursor to the topic to be taught. It was a good experience. 

On 10 th november i took my first class in 9A, which was a poem On Killing A Tree. I brought the innovative model to give a clear idea about appearance and changes happened to tree and nature before and after cutting down. 

On November 11, i got exam duty at 9A class in the second period. I could manage the class well and it was totally a good experience.

Within November 16 i completed the poem On Killing A Tree and began the next unit Enlightening Souls, from which i taught the short story The Happiness Machine.

On 14 th November, as part of Children's day celebration a rally was conducted from school to Kottiyam junction, in which we also participated. Head Mistress delivered Children' s day message to the students. 

As part of the celebration, in the evening Payasam was distributed to students and ll the children assembled in th8e ground to dance as music was played as a gift to them.

On November 17, a food fest was conducted at the school. The food were brougt from homes of the students there, prepared by their parents. According to types of foods several stalls were open at different corners of the campus. Variety of foods like biriyani, desserts, burgers, street foods, sweets, juices ets was prepared for the fest. There were game sections and mehandi section too. A portion of money got from selling foods was for charity purpose. Each of us was got duties in stalls. Participation of every students, teachers and parents made the event a huge success.

 

We took a break from teaching practice as we had to attend our second semester exams.
